RECENTLY, I went to Turbat Civil Hospital’s emergency room along with my cousin. There was another woman in the emergency room. She was unconscious and had high blood pressure.
When I asked for a doctor, I was told he had left for tea. This was shocking. I asked where the doctor was as my cousin was in pain. When I went to the location where the doctor was enjoying his tea, I saw him having fun and chatting with his friends.
Owing to such apathy by doctors at government hospitals many people lose their lives.
The authorities concerned should take stern action to improve government hospitals’ working.
