GUJRAT: Police claimed on Thursday to have arrested an alleged woman robber with head money of Rs400,000 who would disguise herself as a maid to enter the houses first and then assist her other accomplices to loot the house.

A spokesman for the police told Dawn that Naeema Bibi, a resident of Sharqpur Sharif (Sheikhupura district), was wanted in five house robbery cases since she used to introduce herself as a maid and after getting the job in the targeted house of posh areas, she then assist her other accomplices to come and loot the house.

He said the suspect after committing a crime would disappear and the police had been in search of her since long.

The Punjab government had announced a head money on the suspect who was also wanted [by police] in other districts.

He said commendation certificates and cash prizes were announced for the police team that traced and arrested the suspect.
