KARACHI, July 8: Three vessels carrying palm oil, DAP fertilizer and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Golden Express, Wester Muehlen, Orient Prosperity and PAC Antlia were berthed to unload and load containers.

Five ships, Hyundai Sprinter, Y.M. Fortune, Canmar Success, Rising One and Bagi, departed on Friday, while Kota Teraju, Rubin Steela, Eax Sanctity, and Wester Muehlen are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was brisk where a total tonnage of 71,075 tons comprising 23,797 tons of export cargo, including 1,415 tons of cement and 47,278 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Kemal K.A, with 7,000 tons of palm oil, Wan Hai-261, with containers and Bright Sun, with 36,050 tons of DAP fertilizer.
