Man held with 5kg heroin

PESHAWAR: The excise department seized five kilogrammes of heroin from a Swat-bound car at a checkpost in Shergarh area of Mardan district on Monday.

The excise police recovered the narcotics from the secret cavities of a car heading towards Swat via Shergarh customs checkpost and arrested the accused identified as Yasin.

The police registered a case against him under relevant sections of law and put him behind the bars.
