HYDERABAD, July 6: Transfers of police officers continued in Hyderabad district as eight officers, some of whom had been posted hours before announcement of local body election schedule, have again been transferred. TPO (rural) Ahmed Qureshi was sent back to police headquarters, and he had handed over charge to Khawar Akbar Sheikh whom he had earlier replaced.

TPO and SHO of Qasimabad police station were also transferred. The post of TPO of Qasimabad was now vacant.

Hussain Bux Mahar was re-posted as SHO of Husri, replacing Tahir Khanzada.

Inspectors Asghar Alam Halepoto and Imtiaz Domki were reposted as SHOs of Hatri and Tandojam police stations, replacing SHOs Shams Khokhar and Malik Riaz.
