SAHIWAL: Three people died and 11 were injured when a truck rammed into a parked trolley on Friday while saving a motorcyclist near 3/SP village on Depalpur-Pakpattan Road.

Pakpattan District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital sources said that five injured people were referred to the Sahiwal DHQ Teaching Hospital because of their life-threatening injuries.

Nazir and Imran, of Okara, with other people were on the truck when near village 13/SP, while saving a motorcycle, the truck struck the trolley. Zeeshan, Munir and Jahngir, of Okara, died at the scene while Nazir, Imran and Nazeer and some other people got injured. Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to the Pakpattan DHQ Hospital.

EVENT: A seminar and a walk were held over the role of mother language in primary learning. The walk was organised by the Freedom Network.
