Overflowing sewage

Published February 22, 2019

RECENTLY I happened to pass by a milk bottling factory on Sabeen Mahmood road in Korangi Industrial Area and was shocked to find sewerage manholes overflowing in front of their premises and effluents flooding and polluting the entire belt with a horrible stench.

No attempt was being made by the said industrial unit to overcome this nuisance and health hazard. It is requested that concerned authorities take necessary action.

The environment should be free of such hazard. No food processing industry should be allowed to operate in such an unhygenic environment.
