KARACHI, July 5: Eight vessels carrying coal, general cargo and to load naphtha are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, Ever Guard, to unload and load containers, Yuku Shima, Fu Yuan-21, to load fish, Rickmers Channai, to unload and load general cargo, Bunga Meltis, to offload palm oil, Yanaseni to offload chemicals and Shalamar to unload crude oil.
Six vessels, Thoyburg, Parslan, Lalazar, Fair Chem Unicorn, Yanaseni, Stolt Vision departed, while Lmi, Bunga Melati-3, Rickmers Chennai and Shalamar are due to sail out on Wednesday.
Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 96,086 tons comprising 8,331 tons of export cargo and 87,755 tons of import tonnage was handled.
The following ships are due on Wednesday: Rising One, to load 2,000 tons of naphtha, Orient Prosperity, Canmar Success, Y.M.Fortune, Hyundai Sprinter, Kota Terju, with containers, Neera Naree, with 10,450 tons of coal and Butet, with general cargo.
