MIRAMSHAH: Throat-slit bodies of a man and his son were found outside their house in Hamzoni area of North Waziristan tribal district on Monday, residents said.

They said that unknown persons kidnapped Shireen Jamal and his son, Naseerullah, from their home in Hamzoni, some 10 kilometers from Miramshah, the district headquarters of North Waziristan, on Sunday night.

Witnesses said that the slaughtered bodies were abandoned in nearby fields.

Relatives said that the deceased had neither personal enmity nor had any political affiliation with any group. The brutal murder of the man and his son caused fear among the residents of the area.

Local people said that this was the first-evern brutal incident occurred in the area after the elimination of militants from the area in 2014.
