Mother nature

Published February 16, 2019

IT hurts me to see the Timergara Tehsil Municipal Administration disposing of the city’s waste in river Panjkora. It looks like the TMA is unable to think outside the box regarding an environmentally friendly way to dispose the waste.

River Panjkora is a life line for the people of Lower Dir and others who reside along its banks.

By dumping waste into the river, the TMA is wreaking havoc with this precious natural resource. It is nothing short of lunacy on the part of the TMA. Not only are they endangering human life, they are also putting plants and other animals in danger.

I hope the government will look into this as soon as possible.

Let us stop destroying nature.
