KARACHI: Three horses including two pedigrees, looks set to make their debut in the winter Gymkhana race meeting when it takes place at the Karachi Racecourse on Saturday.

The debutants pedigree colt War Drum and unknown pedigree mare Fifty Fifty comes from the stables of Syed Ismail Shah while another pedigree colt Give Away is owned by Haji Sahib Jan.

War Drum and Give Away will make their first run in the days feature event which is the fourth and last race — The Broad Peak Plate, scale order II, III and IV to be contested over four-and-a-half furlongs.

Fifty Fifty, on the other hand, is drawn alongside four opponents in the second race — scale order VII and VIII to be run over four furlongs.

Handicap of five races was issued on Thursday and it was curtailed to four following withdrawal of horses before finalising the acceprtance.

Altogether, 25 horses have entered the days races with first race geeting into action at 2.30pm.

Sohrab-e-Bhakkar 9-0, Fifty Fifty 8-12, Fakhr-e-Kashmir 8-8, Aas Pass 8-8, Jawad Prince 8-8.

Win: Aas Pass.

Place: Sohrab-e-Bhakkar.

THE BROAD PEAK PLATE SCALE ORDER V, VI AND VIII 4 ½ F:

Cash Machine 9-0, Black Smoke 8-7, Believe Me 8-6, Second Life 8-4, Quetta Queen 7-6, Sonia Again 7-3.

Win: Second Life.

Place: Black Smoke.
