FAISALABAD: The Mamunkanjan police on Wednesday registered a case against principal of a school on charges of blackmailing a teacher.

Abida said her friend was a teacher at a private institute on Muridwala Road and complained that the school principal had clicked her pictures and threatened her he would upload them on social media if she refused to pay money.

She said the teacher paid him more than Rs650,000 to have the pictures removed. The principal, however, continued to blackmail her, she added. Police registered a case against the suspect under sections 384 and 506 of the PPC.
