HYDERABAD: An employees union of the Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) has announced that it will suspend water supply and sewerage facilities from Feb 18 if their salaries of last five months and pensions are not released.

HDA Mazdoor Union led by its general secretary Insaf Ali Lashari made this announcement here on Wednesday.

Union leaders Insaf Lashari, Sajid Taqi and others announced that the decision was taken to suspend these supplies after deliberations and consultations.

They said that work charge and contractual employees were not being paid their five months’ salaries.
