LAHORE: Young Lucky Stars progressed to the third round of 16th M. Siddiq Memorial Cricket Tournament after easily defeating Ideal Club by 99 runs at the Township Al-Bilal Ground here on Monday.

Salman Fayyaz, Zubair Malik and Zeeshan Farooq all hit centuries as Young Lucky Stars posted 278-7 in the stipulated 40 overs.

Ideal Club, in reply, slumped to 179 all out in 34.3 overs despite Usman making 50.

Saif (3-35) and Haider Ali (3-36) shared six wickets between them.
