KARACHI: A small field of 20 odd horses will battle it out for honours in the winter Gymkhana race meeting when it takes place at the Karachi Racec­ourse on Saturday.

A field of seven horses will face the starter in the third and last race which is also days feature event — combined scale order II, III and IV to be contested over four-and-a-half furlongs.

This will be preceded by supporting event — scale order V, VI and VII. Eight horses are in line in this race that will also go over similar distance of four-and-a-half furlongs.

The opening race will see five horses vying for honours in the four furlongs race.

The first race starts at 3pm.

Jawad Prince 9-0, Blue Revenue 8-11, Sharapova 8-8, Sassy Gold 7-10, Aas Pass 7-10.

Win: Sharapova.

Place: Blue Revenue.

THE FEBRUARY PLATE SCALE ORDER V, VI AND VII 4 ½ F:

Cash Machine 9-2, I Gold 8-12, Black Smoke 8-4, Second Life 7-12, Dazzling Diva 7-12, Paris 7-8, Quetta Queen 7-8, Sonia Again 7-4.

Win: Paris.

Place: Black Smoke and Quetta Queen.

THE FEBRUARY PLATE SCALE ORDER II, III AND IV 4 ½ F:

Sweet Victory 9-8, Ghazi Gift 9-0, Native Prince 8-10, Poetry 8-7, Tip Top 7-8, Duran Duran 7-6, Parachuter 7-6.

Win: Sweet Victory.

Place: Native Prince.
