Kashmir Day observed in Canada

ISLAMABAD: The Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed at the Pakistan High Commission, Ottawa, on Tuesday.

The event was largely attended by Kashmiris and Canadians of Pakistani origin, says a press release received here on Tuesday from Ottawa.

Speaking on the occasion, Acting High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem underlined the importance of resolving the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with UN resolutions and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that Pakistan had always supported the right to self-determination of Kashmiris and it would continue to do so in future also.
