DADU: Speakers paid rich tribute to renowned poet of Sindhi and Seraiki languages, Syed Ahmed Shah Bukhari better known as Ustad Bukhari, at a programme held to mark the 89th birth anniversary of the poet here on Wednesday.

Dr Syed Altaf Shah Bukhari, son of Ustad Bukhari, said that over two dozen books of poetry were published by the academy and five more books were in the process of publishing.

Writer Anwar Azad Kandhro said that Ustad Bukhari lived in the hearts of people. He urged people to struggle against injustices and work for the achievement of national objectives.
