DHA property tax

Published January 12, 2019

RETIRED government servants/widows of retired government servants are exempted from property tax if living in the cantonment area vide SRO No. 156(1)/2004 dated March 13, 2004.

However, this facility is not being provided to widows and retired government servants of Creek Vistas, DHA Phase VIII, on the flimsy pretext that mutation cannot be done in their names owing to some legal complications.

Can the DHA authorities look into this anomaly and provide relief to the widows and retired government servants residing in Creek Vistas.
