THE Federal Public Service Commission has designated Sukkur and Karachi as examination centres in Sindh to conduct tests for various federal government vacancies. Surprisingly, Hyderbad, the second largest city of Sindh, is not on this list.
Hyderabad connects three main divisions, Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah and Hyderabad itself, and is a more convenient, economical and time-saving centre for the thousands of aspiring candidates from 10 districts keen to sit FPSC exams.
Many of the candidates that want to compete hail from modest backgrounds and will be hard put to meet the expenses of travel to Sukkur or Karachi. The FPSC chairman is requested to include Hyderabad in the list of recruitment centres.
