QUETTA: A couple married only 10 days ago died of suffocation on Tuesday in Kuchlak area.

Police said the couple was sleeping in their bedroom with a gas heater on because of the severe cold in the area. However, continuous burning of the heater filled the room with gas and the two died due to a lack of oxygen.

Police had to break open the door of the bedroom and found the couple dead. The bodies were handed over to their relatives after autopsy.
