OTS performance

Published December 17, 2018

RECENTLY I appeared in the Open Testing Service (OTS) test conducted for the position of OG-III in Zarai Tarqiati Bank Limited. This was my second experience with the testing service and it proved worse than the first one.

The test started one hour after the stipulated time. Seat numbers were not marked, so anybody could sit anywhere in the classroom. As many as three candidates shared a single bench and no authentic measure was taken to prevent cheating.

Many students could be heard whispering and discussing answers. Besides these irregularities, there were serious flaws in the question paper as well. There were several questions which were too lengthy.

Earlier this year, OTS had conducted tests for recruitment in FIA. It turned out that the authenticity of the process was compromised. So, after public outcry the test was conducted again.

I wonder how our future can be placed in the hands of such an irresponsible organisation. How can youth are being treated so non-seriously despite the fact that job opportunities are already limited?

The authorities concerned should look into this matter and take action.
