ISLAMABAD: The Shalimar police arrested two Chinese nationals after recovering huge quantity of liquor from a distillery, a police spokesman said on Sunday.

He said on the directions of SSP (operations) Waqaruddin Syed, a crackdown against drug peddlers was underway.

The police raided a house in F-10 and recovered 2,640 bottles of wine along with tools to produce liquor.

A case has been registered against the arrested persons and further investigation is underway.
