Renewable energy

Published November 30, 2018

THE article on renewable energy (EOS, Nov 4) is an excellent case for the overwhelming use of renewable sources (solar, wind and bio-gas).

The question is: if renewable energy has so many advantages over conventional means of generating electricity, why hasn’t Pakistan gone for it in a big way?

Are we truly addicted to burning fossil fuels or is it because of the powerful imported oil and LNG lobby?
