KARACHI: A fine team effort inspired Vital Five CC to a clinical nine-wicket rout of Student Sports CC in the latest KCCA Zone-I fixture of the PCB Fazal Mahmood National Club Cricket Championship here on Monday.

After being put into bat at the Al-Nadil Al-Burhani Ground, Student Sports crashed to 110 all out in 31.3 overs with Bilal Aziz (43 off 63 balls, six fours and one six) offering some resistance.

Vital Five CC needed only 13.4 overs to reach the modest target thaks to the unbroken second-wicket partnership of 84 between opener Saad Alam (53 off 45, nine boundaries) and Yasir Hussain (38 off 24, six fours).
