SWABI: Four people, including a woman and her teenage son, were killed in different incidents here on Tuesday.

A woman and her teenage son Samran Khan were going on a motorcycle to Shagai village in Panjpir area to offer condolences over the death of a relative when Samran lost control of the bike after its tyre burst. As a result, they fell into a deep drain near Panjpir canal and died on the spot.

In Chota Lahor city, a man identified as Abbas Khan was electrocuted while he was fixing fault in the power supply line. He was taken to the civil hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

In another incident, one Imran Khan was shot dead by unknown assailants in the mountainous Qadra village. Local police registered an FIR and have started investigation.

GOVT CRITICISED: PML-N provincial president Amir Muqam has said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leaders have been targeting politicians of rival parties instead of focusing their attention on bringing about the promised change in the country.

Talking to party workers during his visit to Razaar tehsil on Tuesday, he said that the PTI leadership failed to deliver and it had lost its direction.

Mr Muqam said that the only change so far introduced by the PTI leaders was the increase in prices of daily use commodities. He claimed that the policies adopted by the government had made it clear that the rulers were not interested in people’s welfare.
