KOHAT: A quick response force has been set up in the lower Orakzai subdivision on the directives of the deputy commissioner for ensuring peace and stamping out terrorism.

A handout issued on Sunday by the regional information office, the deputy commandant/assistant commissioner, lower Orakzai subdivision, Abbas Khan Afridi while addressing the force’s personnel at Kalaya said their responsibilities had increased manifold after the merger of Fata with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He asked them to work hard for identifying and taking action against sinister elements who wanted to disturb peace. He urged them to improve law and order situation.
