ISLAMABAD, June 20: A government spokesman has contradicted a report that Dr A.Q. Khan has undergone angioplasty. The spokesman said that Dr Khan had a chest pain after which angiography was carried out at the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology. Having been cleared in angiography, Dr Khan went back home and was healthy and had not undergone angioplasty, the spokesman said, adding that reports to the contrary were ‘baseless and absurd’.—APP
