QUETTA June 20: At least six people were killed and 18 others injured, four of them seriously, when a passenger coach collided with a trailer on the Quetta-Karachi highway near Surab on Monday. Police officials said the critically injured were brought to the provincial capital.

The Quetta-bound coach coming from Karachi hit the trailer parked on the roadside in the early hours of the day.

A police official said the accident was caused by negligence of the bus driver. Police have registered a case against the driver.

The victims include Laila, Ali Jan and Nazir Ahmed.
