KARACHI: The Searle Company Ltd posted 1QFY19 profit after tax (PAT) at Rs729.79 million, down 5.56 per cent, from Rs772.83m in same period last year. Earnings per share (EPS) came out at Rs3.95, decreasing from Rs4.18 in corresponding quarter last year.

PEL earns Rs116.9m

Pak Elektron Ltd (PEL) declared consolidated PAT at Rs116.9m (EPS: Rs0.21) for the quarter ended Sept 30, plunging by 51.45pc, from Rs240.84m (EPS: Rs0.46) in 1QFY18.

Fatima Fertiliser PAT jumps 30pc

Fatima Fertiliser Company recorded quarterly earnings at Rs3.1 billion, with EPS of Rs1.48. This represented a jump of 30pc over PAT in same quarter last year, when EPS stood at Rs1.13.
