RAWALPINDI: The counterterrorism department (CTD) on Friday arrested two suspected members of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during a raid on a house at Chakri Road.

According to sources, the CTD team carried out the raid on intelligence that the two active members of the banned outfit were hiding in the house.

The CTD officials apprehended the suspects and registered a case under Explosive Act and section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act.
