MIRAMSHAH: Three employees of an oil and gas exploration company and a Frontier Corps member, who were kidnapped by unknown people, were killed by their captors in the North Waziristan tribal district on Tuesday.

Deputy Commissioner Abdul Nasir confirmed the death of the four men — Javeedullah, Khalil-ur-Rehman, FC man Zakir and an identified worker.

They had been kidnapped from the border area of Spin Wam and taken to the mountainous area of Abbakhel. The captors set the oil company’s vehicle on fire and whisked away the men in their own vehicle.

Later in the day, the captors killed the four men. Their bullet-riddled bodies were found in the Abbakhel area.

A week ago two employees of the same company were kidnapped by unknown people. However, the captors set one employee free while the other one is still missing.
