I INVITE the attention of the Minister for Finance to the grievances of senior citizens and pensioners.

Till July 2017, the National Bank of Pakistan used to deduct at source Rs70 on account of IBT (Inter Branch Transaction) / online charges per transaction in Sindh. Now they have increased those charges from Rs70 to Rs377 per transaction which is a 439 per cent increase over the previous charges.

This can be verified from my account in the National Bank of Pakistan, Jati Branch.

My pension of Rs25,647 was to be transferred but only Rs25,577 was credited to my account. According to a letter dated Oct 2, 2017 issued by my former employer, an amount of Rs28,212 was to be transferred to my account; instead only an amount of Rs27,835.00 was credited.

I request Finance Minister Asad Umar to look into the matter.
