Gold rises

BENGALURU: Gold rose on Wednesday, rebounding from a key support level with technical momentum proving more influential than a stronger dollar and rallying stock markets.

Spot gold was up 0.1 per cent at $1,225.21 per ounce. US gold futures were down 0.2pc at $1,228.70 per ounce.

Silver was up 0.2pc at $14.66 per ounce, platinum rose 0.3pc to $839.30, and palladium was down 0.2pc at $1,076.60.
