KARACHI: The participation of Pakistan players in the second edition of the T10 league is hanging in the balance as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) still awaits the official response from the International Cricket Council (ICC).

A source, privy to the development, said the concerns of the PCB are being reviewed by the ICC at the moment.

“The matter is likely to be discussed in Singapore on October 19 during the Board meeting,” the source said

Earlier, PCB chairman Ehsan Mani refused to allow Pakistan players to participate in this year’s T10 League and approached the ICC to clarify concerns.

“PCB has raised a number of queries including league’s funding source, track record of league and teams owners etc,” the source added.

The second edition of the T10 league is scheduled to be held between Nov 21 to Dec 2 in Sharjah.

“In the Singapore meeting, the working group will provide its feedback on sanctioning of future events including T10 and other T20 leagues,” the source concluded.
