CDC to launch online account opening

KARACHI: The Central Depository Company (CDC) is planning to launch its “Digital Account Opening” solution in October, the company said in a statement on Monday.

The facility will let investors to fill the account opening form online and download it once validated by CDC personnel.—Equities Correspondent

KARACHI: The sponsors of Climax Engineering Ltd have accepted the revised offer for buy-back of ordinary shares of the company at Rs100 per share, according to a Pakistan Stock Exchange notice on Monday. The board of directors will hold a meeting on Oct 2.

KARACHI: All Pakistan Shipping Association (APSA) on Monday elected Aasim Siddiqui unopposed as chairman for 2018-19. Omair Qayyum Lodhi and Salahuddin Khuhro were elected as senior vice chairman and vice chairman, respectively, said a press release.

Soap makers elect office-bearers

KARACHI: Usman Ahmed was elected chairman of Pakistan Soap Manufacturers Association (PSMA) for 2018-19, said a press release.

Shahzad Mushtaq Paracha and Waseem Akhtar were elected senior vice-chairman and vice- chairman, respectively.
