ISLAMABAD3: A man was killed in a road accident near F-9 Park on Thursday, the police said.

The victim, Zamirul Hassan, was travelling on a motorcycle and was hit by an over speeding car near the park. He was moved to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the car managed to escape.

Separately, four men and a woman robbed a man of cash and valuables at Sanam Chowk. The robbers were disguised as the police. The victim, Mohammad Fawad was intercepted at the chowk and was asked for his identification. He was held at gunpoint and searched. The robbers escaped after taking the cash and valuables Fawad had on him.

In an unrelated incident, three robbers raided a bakery in Tarli Khan and made off with cash and valuables.

They held the shopkeepers at gunpoint and later detained them at the side of the bakery.

Two armed men raided a shop in Chatta Bakhtawar and made away with cash and valuables.

A Honda 125 belonging to Mohammad Naeem was stolen from the parking area of Faisal Masjid and a similar model belonging to Amjad Hussain was stolen from the animal market in I-12.
