SIALKOT: The Sialkot International Airport Ltd (SIAL) management has declared Shaheen Air International a defaulter of Rs140 million.

According to a press release issued on Wednesday, the SIAL management claimed that the airline has not paid the said amount (in shape of different taxes) to the airport. The management has contacted Shaheen Air for the clearance of outstanding dues.

The airline hasn’t carried out flight operations from the airport since July 5. Authorities at the airport have urged the airline for clearance of the dues as well as the resumption of its flight operations, the press release said.
