ISLAMABAD: Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has opened a state-of-the-art facilitation centre in Gwadar keeping in view investor demands for timely of businesses registration in the region, according to the press release issued by the Regulator.

The inauguration of Gwadar Facilitation Centre located at the doorstep of the Gwadar Free Zone would assist local as well as foreign investors in their business related activities.

Companies operating under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor would benefit immensely from the new centre.

To promote ease of doing business, the SECP has fast-tracked the process of registering companies within four hours of filing of complete documents, which is in line with the government’s initiative to help new investors register with the country’s regulator.

All of the relevant details pertinent to company registration can be found on the SECP website.

SECP recently introduced the concept of limited liability partnership which combines the flexibility of a general partnership and the advantages of limited liability of a company, which is mainly useful for the business community, especially for small investors.
