LAHORE: A scuffle broke out between students at the cafeteria of the Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) on Monday over ragging of the newcomers.

A number of students of first year were sitting in a cafeteria of the FC College on their first day of the college when their seniors reached there.

The senior students started ragging of the newcomers, offending the newcomers. Both seniors and newcomers indulged in heated arguments that led to a scuffle. Both the groups hurled chairs at each other.

The college administration reached the cafeteria and pacified the students. It issued warning letters to the students involved in the scuffle.

The college’s director student affairs was contacted through calls and messages for the institute’s version but in vain.
