KARACHI: The advisor to Sindh chief minister for information, law and anti-corruption Murtaza Wahab on Monday issued directives to upload the record of archives department on its website and update all other relevant data of the institution, said a statement.

“The advisor conducted an introductory meeting with the directors and officers of information and archives department,” it said. “The advisor during his visit of archives directorate directed that all record of archives department [be] uploaded on website. He also directed that old material like newspapers, magazines and other important data should be also updated.”

The secretary information and archives Rasheed Solangi briefed the advisor about the role and performance of the department. The advisor called for close coordination among the officers and staff members of the department for better results and effective performance.
