RAWALPINDI: A four-member economic cum goodwill mission from South Korea arrived here this morning [Sept 8] from Karachi for a three-day visit. Led by the special envoy of the Republic of Korea, Mr Too Chin Paik, the mission had arrived in Karachi in the early hours of this morning. Besides its other engagements here, the mission will call on President Ayub Khan on Sept 10.

On arrival at Chaklala airport, the team was received by the Deputy Chief of Protocol, Mr N.D. Ahmad, and the South Korean Consul-General Mr Kew Sung Lee. Later it drove to Murree for sight-seeing. Tomorrow, the mission will have meetings with the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Secretary of Commerce Ministry, Mr Vaqar Ahmed. The team will visit Taxila in the afternoon. Besides calling on President Ayub Khan, the mission will meet the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Mr M.M. Ahmed, and officials of the Industries Ministry on Sept 10. The same evening the mission will fly to Karachi from where it will leave for Colombo on Sept 11. — Agency
