LAHORE: A man was electrocuted late on Thursday while bathing in a swimming pool in Shahdara late on Thursday.

Initial reports suggested that Babar Ali, of Saggian Bridge, was bathing in the pool near China Scheme when live wires of a transformer fell in the water.

Consequently, Babar suffered severe electric shocks. He was rushed to a local hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

Also, two people were found dead in separate incidents in the city here on Friday.

Shafiq Ahamd was found dead in fields in Manga Mandi. The relatives alleged that Shafiq was kidnapped a couple of days back. They alleged that kidnappers removed his kidney before killing him. The police are awaiting postmortem report.

In another incident in the area of Batapur police, a man was found murdered with his hands and legs tied with ropes.

Identified as Mohammad Aslam (40), the deceased went missing two days back.
