LAHORE: The Civil Aviation Authority planted saplings at the Allama Iqbal International Airport here on Thursday.

In accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan “Plant for Pakistan”, the CAA says massive plantation activity has been launched at the Lahore airport.

Lahore Airport Manager Sardar Tahir Sikandar and Deputy Airport Manager Chaudhry Nazir Ahmed Khan planted saplings along with senior officers of ASF, FIA, Customs and station managers of different airlines. An official said: “Hundreds of plants will be planted at airport and its premises.”

The CAA on the occasion of Defence Day, paid rich tributes to martyrs of Pakistan and displayed portraits at international and domestic terminals.
