KARACHI: Kot Addu Power Company (Kapco) posted FY18 profit after tax Rs10.62 billion, up 12.39 per cent, from Rs9.447bn the year before. The surge in profit came after higher than expected increase in other income clocking in at 9.945m.

This translated into earnings per share of Rs12.06 versus 10.73 in the fiscal year 2017.

The board also declared a final cash dividend at Rs4.8 per share, which is in addition to the interim dividend already paid at Rs4.35 per share.
