PESHAWAR: The police on Monday arrested the main suspect for the killing of six members of a family on the outskirts of the provincial capital.
A spokesperson for the police said six brothers of an Afghan family were killed in Sorezai village in the jurisdiction of Inqilab police station in July in the Sorezai village in the jurisdiction of Inqilab police station over a minor dispute.
He said the dispute involved children.
The official said acting on a tip-off, the police arrested the main suspect, Safirullah, in Sorezai village and recovered arms and bullets from his possession.
He said the suspect was being investigated.
