PESHAWAR: The National Accountably Bureau, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, will receive complaints during a public hearing at its regional office here on August 30 from 2pm to 4pm.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, NAB has asked people to submit complaints with solid proofs so that action could be taken against the accused persons as per relevant laws.

It said that Farmanullah Khan, the provincial director general of NAB, would hear public complaints at the bureau office in Hayatabad near Peshawar Development Authority.

The members of complaints and scrutiny committee would be present on the occasion to assess the complaints.

It stated that NAB officials would receive all kinds of complaints pertaining to cheating, land grabbing, illegal housing schemes, bank frauds, bribery and losses to public exchequer.

The public hearing would be held on the directives of NAB Chairman retired Justice Javed Iqbal. The complaints regarding illegal sources of income, cases of fraud, bribery, attractive packages on fake jobs outside the country besides illegal housing schemes would be listened on the occasion.

NAB has urged the people that written complainants should be submitted along with a copy of Computerised National Identity Card of the complainant.

It said that transparent inquiry would be carried out into all the complaints and action would be taken in accordance with the law.
