Imran Khan's oath-taking outfit is the only thing Twitter's talking about right now

Some fans want him to wear his '92 World Cup kit, we only wonder if it'll fit...

Sherwani or Jinnah cap? Twitter is divided on what the country's new Prime Minister Imran Khan should wear as he is sworn into office today.

According to latest reports, the PTI chairman will not be going the traditional route by ditching the sherwani our previous leaders have worn and will instead go for his staple shalwar kameez. IK wants to keep it super simple and basic.

But there's no escaping Twitteratis as they give their two cents on what the former cricketer should wear to the oath-taking ceremony.

Khan won the cricket match and now he's won the elections... only makes sense, right?

But what should it be? A sherwani...

or, an achkan?

or a Jinnah cap?

Finally! Some sanity prevails

But that never stopped people from promoting their business

it is not important what he wears at the oath taking ceremony , it is important what he do for the county after the holding PM seat.

Befitting the occasion, he should wear sherwani. If Quaid cap looks appropriate, that would be nice because he desires to see PK as envisioned by Quaid. Best wishes for success to the new PM.

If that is all his followers have in mind they will have little expectation for the country at large. Naya Pakistan is about looks and big promises or maybe more ! Time will tell

There are certain traditions and decorum attached to the highest executive office of the country which should be observed. It instills pride and disciple. He talks about following the Quaideazam so why not Sherwani , pajama and Jinnah cap?
