KARACHI: Bounce Club and Clifton Crossover Club beat their respective rivals in the KBBA Independence Day basketball tournament being staged here at the Arambagh courts on Wednesday.

In the first match, Bounce Club beat Karachi Youth Club 43-24. Saifullah (13 points), Mubashir Hussain (10 points) and Ishaq Nosherwani (10 points) were the main scorers for the winners.

For Karachi Youth, Wasim Rao (10 points), Ovais Saeed (8 points) and Daniyal Jamil (4 points) played well.

In the second match, Clifton Crossover beat Arambagh Club 43-35. Mohammad Talha was in electric form, scoring 24 points for the winners while Saad Basit (13 points) and Mohammad Sameer (8 points) also contributed well.

For the runner-up team, Sultan Habib excelled with 24 points while Zahid Malik (8 points) also played well.
