LAHORE: Four events were held in the Open Cycling Championship as part of the Independence Day celebrations here on Tuesday.

Around 60 cyclists took part in the events.

Results:

Senior cyclists’ event:

1km time trial race: Nasir Khan (1m: 27.00seconds); Nauman; M Ali.

1,000 metres sprint: M Ali 14:71second; Rashid; Anwar.

1km time trial (for junior cyclists): Talal (1:34.71) Muzammil Khawaja; Zain Mian.

500 metres time trial for female cyclists: Alvina 50.47 seconds; Amina; Esha.

One kilometre time trial (for ordinary cyclists): Rashid 1:33:00; Faryad; Azeem.
