PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Department notified transfers and postings of seven senior officers on Tuesday.

A notification issued here said that Dr Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan (PSP BS-20), additional IGP investigations, has been transferred and posted as AIG headquarters, KP police.

Akhtar Hayat (PSP BS-20), serving as regional police officer Mardan, has been transferred and posted as DIG traffic, KP. However, it added that Mr Hayat would draw his salary from the investigation wing and since he is proceeding to attend a course at the National Defence University, Commandant Frontier Reserves Police Tahir Ayub would look after the affairs of DIG traffic office.

DIG Telecommunication Mohammad Ali Khan (PSP BS-20) has been transferred and posted as RPO Mardan and DIG traffic Fida Hassan Shah (PSP BS-19) transferred and posted as DIG telecommunication. Mr Hassan would also look after the affairs of DIG training office as the officer was leaving to attend the National Management Course.

DIG investigation Abdul Ghafoor Afridi would look after the affairs of DIG operations office as the officer was proceeding for a course at NDU.

Mohammad Saleem, DG project coordination unit, has been transferred and posted as DIG Counter-Terrorism Department and he will hold additional charge of the coordination unit.

Forensic Science Laboratory director Zaibullah Khan has been transferred and posted as AIG training KP, while AIG inquiry Rab Nawaz Khan was posted as director FSL.
